How much money does Tutor Chest charge?
Due to the pandemic, and our continued mission to give all students an equal and affordable education, the Tutor Chest platform has been free to register and use for all parents and tutors. Parents pay directly to the tutors. Beginning in June 2021, Tutor Chest will charge a small monthly or annual fee for new members.
How will I know if a tutor accepts my session request
You will receive an email from Tutor Chest notifying you of a confirmed session request. You will be given your tutor’s preferred contact method, as well as session details.
How do I contact my tutor?
Once you request a session with the tutor of your choice, you will receive a confirmation email from info@tutorchest.com letting you know your tutor accepted your session date and time, as well as the tutors contact information, and link to the session (if virtual). You will receive a reminder email 24 hours and 15 minutes prior to your agreed upon session. You will also find each tutors contact information on their profile, if you choose to reach out to them directly to schedule a session.
